Making a booking
When you’re ready to make contact, you can do so via the contact form, email or telephone. I recommend you meet a few therapists to ensure you find the best fit for you.
Confirmation & Documents
Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation e-mail including everything you need to know about your appointment. This e-mail will also include the relevant documents to be completed prior to contracting.
Asessment £65
This is an opportunity for us to meet and discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and what your hopes are for it’s’ outcome. It is also chance for you to ask any questions you have about counselling and psychotherapy and for me to assess your needs and get a sense of how I can best help you. In addition it lets us see how we might work together and decide if we’d like to proceed. There is no obligation to book any further appointments if you do not wish to proceed. The assessment normally lasts up to 50 mins.
Individual therapy £65 Couples therapy £90
The first session is important for making sure that you feel comfortable with me and my way of working. I offer one to one session that last for 50 minutes, these take place at the same time and place each week. This is important as it helps with continuity, and it helps to establish the therapeutic relationship between us. The sessions are offered as an open ended time frame, dependent upon you and your needs. I will normally contract for a minimum of six sessions and review from there but this is not binding. I do review at regular intervals in order so we can both reflect on the benefits of the therapy you are receiving.
Counselling can be short or long term work ranging from weeks to years and everything in between depending upon what you need from therapy. Once we have agreed to work together you will be offered a weekly appointment which will be at the same time and day as your initial assessment appointment. Cancellation without any charge is possible providing at least 48 hrs notice is given.
Payment and Cancellation
Payment is due in full at the time of your appointment. You may pay by cash and Online banking.
48 hours’ notice is required to cancel scheduled appointments.
Late cancellation or unattended sessions will be charged at the full fee. Payment is due in full at the time of your appointment.
